Ecospray Technologies provides a range of solutions specifically designed for the marine industry, including DeSOx, DeNOx and diesel particulate removal to meet the most severe emission limits for both SOx and NOx (MARPOL 73/78 Annex VI and Amendments).
 
BE READY FOR THE 2020 GLOBAL SULFUR CAP
Under the new global limit, ships will have to use fuel oil with a sulfur content of no more than 0.5%, versus the current limit of 3.5%, or use an Exhaust Gas Cleaning System as a compliant option. This in addition to the 0.1% sulfur limits in Emission Control Areas (ECAs) already in force since January 2015.
 
Ecospray’s ECO-EGCTM Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS) are flexible and able to meet both compliance needs, 0.1% for ECAs and 0.5% for 2020 global sulfur cap, using different optional configurations: open loop, closed loop and hybrid.
For shipping companies Ecospray scrubber systems represent the most economically attractive option for the 2020 fuel challenge.

Ecospray provides a full range of systems for the field of energy production and incineration. With the experience gained over many years as a supplier to these industries, Ecospray is able to offer integrated systems specifically designed for the unique characteristics and needs of the power generation, incineration and waste to energy industries. Our systems have been installed in energy production operations employing biomass boilers, coal and oil fueled processes, and the gas turbines of cogeneration plants (diesel generators powered by gas, biomass and diesel).

For many years, Ecospray has been a valued supplier to the steel and metal industries, providing de-dusting systems with bag filters, wet filters and variable throat scrubbers, along with high performance spray cooling towers. Employing proprietary spray technologies, Ecospray has installed gas cooling towers in numerous steel and metals plants worldwide. 
For steel and metals applications, cooling towers must be designed and studied in particular detail, as these require a reliable level of control over the water sprays in order to regulate the temperature downstream of the tower, regardless of fluctuations in inlet temperature. Process flow and fluid analysis and tower design are areas of Ecospray's particular expertise.
Due to the precise temperature control that our Ecospray's sophisticated spray cooling systems provide, it is possible to achieve significant reductions of dioxins, especially in the case of systems installed upstream of electric furnaces. Combined with downstream injection of activated carbon, dioxin levels can be reduced to well within the regulated limits, even in extremely polluted gas streams. 
For steel manufacture, Ecospray has installed cooling systems for electric arc furnaces, and sprays into the ductwork of the combustion chamber, converter and ovens of basic oxygen furnaces. In ferrous and non-ferrous foundry applications, Ecospray installations include cooling systems for cupolas and in-duct sprays for Aluminium, Lead and Copper smelting furnaces.

Ecospray’s combined NOx and particulate matter removal systems for glass and ceramic applications are based on high temperature filtration using catalytic ceramic filters with ammonia or urea injected at the inlet of the filter/reactor. Additionally, Ecospray provides more expanded solutions such as the injection of calcium or bicarbonate based sorbents to remove acidic pollutants such as hydrofluoric acid and/or SO2, in conjunction with the dust removal and denitrification steps, employing the same filtering system.
